An Ocean of Possibilities

For the Noorderlicht International Photofestival 2014 ‘An Ocean of Possibilities’ Hester Keijser and I developed the concept for the catalog. The design of the textual content and the alphabetical index, with thumbnails and information on all the 60 participating photographers and their projects, was done by me. The pure visual first part of the book is done by Wim Melis, Hester Keijser and Dirk de Jong (graphic design). Photos in that section have numbers referring to the numbered photographers in the index. As the index segment functions as a handy source while visiting the exhibitions, or browsing the book, we decided on publishing these 80 pages as a more convenient standalone appendix: ‘All the words, all the photographers.’
